Cookie - This site is a lot of fun. Many games and activities for kids from preschool - through 2nd grade. Site has good descriptions of each game/activity, so you'll know what to expect.

Games to Learn English - fun site for EL kids. A few different games at different levels.
Xtra Math - several teachers I know use this site and they love it. So do the kids. Its just math practice, but the kids have logins, so their progress is tracked. There are reports for teachers. Its FREE
Wonderopolis - Wonder of the Day. Great site! Each 'wonder' has vocabulary and questions that go along with it. Today's wonder is "How long would it take to fly to Mars'. This would be fun to do with a classroom of kids, or for one kid. Check it out!
My Storymaker, from the Carnegie Library is a fun way for kids to write stories. Create stories by adding characters, items and actions to the page. It's fun and easy. You can save your stories and come back later. You can print them and share them, too.
Discovery Education Puzzle Maker - make your own puzzles FREE. You can pay for extra stuff, but the free site has plenty to choose from.
Qubo - another fun site for younger students. Very cute animated games that will engage kids.
SwitcherooZoo - very fun animal site. You can create your own animals by mixing the head of one, body of another and legs of another. Its a creative site, but also very educational. You can create your own animal habitat, learn about what animals eat. Puzzles, games.
America's Story. Learn about historical people, learn about the states, and a lot more! The Library of Congress created this educational site for kids!
